Three Rivers Greenway

Check this out if you are looking for a Downtown or West Columbia running location.  This scenic run along the river is partially paved and partially packed trail.  Also check out options for canoeing, kayaking, and biking at this location.

Sesquicentennial State Park

Sesquicentennial State Park is located in Northeast Columbia.  This is a great location for trail runs and mountain biking.  Portions of this course are used for area high school cross country meets. 

Harbison State Forrest

If you are looking for a great place to run on the Irmo side of town, check out the Harbison State Forrest.  This location offers many options for trail or paved running.  Mountain bikers should also check out this venue.

Carolina Marathon Race Course

If you are planning to do the Governor's Cup 1/2 Marathon, you can train right on the race course and practice the infamous uphill finish.  The course begins and ends in downtown Columbia and takes you on sights through Shandon and out to Forest Acres.
